OningIQ is a school and college management platform operated by Oning Media Solutions Private Limited (“OningIQ”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the OningIQ web and mobile applications.

• Enquiry & demo details you submit — name, role, institution, board, student strength, phone, email and city.
• Institution data your school enters into the platform — student, staff and parent records, admissions, fees, attendance, exams, transport and communications. Your institution is the owner of this data; we act as a processor on its behalf.
• Account & usage data — login identifiers, device and browser information, and basic analytics used to operate and improve the service.

• To provide, secure and support the platform for your institution.
• To respond to demo requests and sales or support enquiries.
• To send service-related notices (e.g. fee receipts, attendance alerts) on behalf of your institution.
• To improve reliability, performance and features.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use student or parent data for advertising.

We share data only with trusted infrastructure and communication providers (for example hosting, payment, SMS, WhatsApp and email services) strictly to deliver the service, and only as needed. These providers are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose data where required by law.

We keep personal data for as long as your institution maintains an account, plus any period required by law. Students, parents and staff who wish to access, correct or delete their data should contact their institution (the data owner); we will assist the institution in fulfilling such requests.

We apply technical and organisational safeguards including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections, role-based access controls and regular backups. See our security overview for more.
