Setup is a one-time fee per channel. Consumption is prepaid and billed by the provider — a TRAI-registered SMS operator, Meta (WhatsApp) or your email provider — with no OningIQ premium.

We configure the platform and train your staff end to end — one-time ₹25,000 per branch. Data migration is always free, and self-setup is free too.

Payment gateway
The gateway’s transaction charges apply and go straight to them. We never take a cut of your fee collection.

How do the tiers work?
Four tiers, priced per student per month: Section D (₹12, essentials) up to Section A (₹20, the complete platform). Each tier is all-inclusive for its level and cumulative — every tier includes the one below it, plus more. The comparison table shows exactly what is in each, so no feature is ever hidden behind a "call us".
Are notifications free?
Yes — in-app notifications are included on every plan at no cost. Fee reminders, exam notices and alerts reach parents, teachers and students inside the apps for free. SMS, WhatsApp and Email are optional paid channels, only for reaching people outside the app.
What's billed separately?
Three things sit outside the per-student price. (1) Messaging reach — SMS, WhatsApp and Email — each a one-time ₹25,000 setup plus prepaid usage billed by the provider. (2) One-off services: setup, training & onboarding (₹25,000 per branch) and a white-label app (₹15,000/year + ₹5,000 per branch). (3) Provider charges you would pay anyway, like the payment gateway. In-app notifications and data migration are always free.
Why does SMS need extra setup?
Indian regulation (TRAI’s DLT system) requires every organisation to register its sender identity — with documents like the society memorandum or trust deed and an appointed Manager/Director — before transactional SMS can be sent. We handle the configuration; the DLT registration and the per-message cost sit with the operator.
How does annual billing work?
Pay yearly and get 2 months free — you pay for 10 months and use 12. Monthly billing is available too. All tiers are billed per student.
Is GST included?
No — all prices are exclusive of GST, charged as applicable.
Do you take a cut of our fees or messages?
No. Payment-gateway and SMS / WhatsApp / Email charges go to those providers directly — OningIQ adds no premium on top.
Is data migration free?
Yes — always, on every tier. We import your students, staff, fee structures and historical balances from your old software or spreadsheets at no cost, and most schools go live in about a week.
